Kingston Value RAM 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz RAM is based on sixteen 512M x 8-bit FBGA components and performs at 1.5V with latency DDR3-1600MHz timing of 11-11-11. This is a 240 pin DIMM RAM module. The performance aspect of this Value RAM is basically above average and we have got better results while benchmarking this module comparing it with similar specs but of different brand name, Strontium. This module runs at a clock of 800MHz. The programmable CAS Latency are 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6  while the programmable additive Latency are 0, CL – 2, or CL – 1 clock.

We also did a rough testing with the new Windows 10 OS (Technical Preview) and the performance were a slight higher on this side. As the platform OS is not yet released commercially, it is vague to display results from a beta or preview versions. We may update this article once the final version of Windows 10 is released in the market and we grab a copy of the same testing with this RAM module.

The Kingston Value RAM 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz RAM is available at a retail price of around 7800 INR. Verdict

Kingston Value RAM 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz RAM is best suited for regular and enthusiastic users except gamers. For the price it is offered, it completely is worth every penny. The lifetime warranty offered by Kingston adds cherry on top of this cutting edge product. Although lifetime warranty isn’t applicable in certain countries they listed out in their official website.
